With the first fixture in the BIL (Bucks Invitational League) going ahead saw Chinnor and Hitchin both with reduced numbers. Local club GAB (Gosford All Blacks) having their game cancelled topped up both team numbers.

Hitchin were quick off the mark to score just outside the first 2 minutes. Chinnor having to battle from the off. Some fantastic hard hits going in from multiple players Abbi, Tasha, Ruby and a few of the Gosford girls from the restart. A little time in Hitchin's half and some slick work from the solid forwards out to the back line saw us progress further and further deep into Hutchin's half.
Unfortunately a penalty given away and Hitchin using the boot saw Chinnor back in their own half and Hitchin over the line for their second.
Shortly followed by Some fantastic work from Freya and Lily (GAB) closely followed by Elissa on the shoulder saw her go over the line.
Moments later a penalty in Chinnor's favour saw some a penalty taken by Molly A (GAB) Ilka on her shoulder and Molly A following saw her over the line. Back to a level score.
Some great rugby on display in particular from the forwards, Lottie winning most of the ball in the air at line outs. Scrums being won rotating the front row around to keep the game lively.
Soon the poaching came from the backs with Mollie S breaking down her opposite number at the scrum. Quick release from forwards Chloe, Evan, Eleanor and Mia regaining the ball. Elissa in a perfect position on Mia's shoulder to be just short of line but with Molly A (GAB) equally as close to go over for her second of the game.
A great run by Dylan from receiving the kick off supported closely by Alice M saw us back in Hitchin's half moments later with the momentum flowing Chinnor's way. A great steal by Hitchin saw them over the line.
Chinnor not giving up saw us getting closer and closer to the line, just falling short metres away. Penalty to Hitchin, a big boot down the middle of the park. Georgie (GAB) collecting and showing her pace running from near half way around all players to see her over the line.
