Despite playing into a strong wind for the first half we reached half time 12- 0 up thanks to a try out wide from Sasha and Henry running a great line to score under the posts. Our pack was mostly on top in the set piece and lineout. Sam had a massive game, even putting in some wild cover tackles. When Charlie and Henry got into the game more, the whole side played well. Anthony Kent made countless trademark carries. Andy W had a great game, always turning up in the right place in both attack and defence. Jarv and Alex both had good games at 9. Jarv probably got the backs going more and Alex probably got the forwards going more. Jake and Stodge controlled the game when they were given good ball and when the ball was recycled well we looked good for points. Playing phases led to both of our tries. Shaun had a stand-out game in attack and defence, turning up everywhere. George R and Tom M both had great runs only to be caught a few metres from the tryline. Our defence was generally good but Marlow scored a try at the very end, very much against the run of play. We kept letting them back in to the match. There was one patch where we gave away a string of penalties. We lacked control at the restart and we lacked control in the opposition 22.
