Weybridge kick off and the ball is fumbled backwards. Rich B carries well with Tom F securing the first ruck only for the ball to be lost in next ruck. Ben G, Sam G & Josh R make good tackles to slow a fast and effective Reeds team. Then one missed tackle. Then a good tackle by Jude H, but this only delays the inevitable opening score by the visitors 0-5.

Chinnor dust themselves off from this and apply pressure securing a penalty. Chinnor line out, but won by Reeds. Not going well, but the wind is up. Their scrum, won by Chinnor. A miss pass to Jude H in the 5m channel, but he is brought down. Alfie C is nearly over but the defence is excellent. The ball is lost and regained with Max B jumping on a loose ball. Charlie Mc carries well. Possession is then lost to the visitors, but won back when the fail to execute the maul with Magnus P securing ball. Spun out wide and the interception is knocked on by Reeds.

Dan M carries into heavy traffic but he has good support including from Adam M. A chip through by Joe H, regathered but their defense is very good. Then all Reeds way and their #3 makes the most to score 0-12. This was followed shortly by more fast attacking play and Chinnor's defence was exposed. 0-19.

Interception by Reeds but knocked into touch, good lineout by Chinnor with Magnus P taking the the ball. Good play by Dan M to Josh R, Tom F & Sam G in support. Penalty against the visitors and, wisely, a scrum is called. Good play by Chinnor again to release captain & fly half Olly S to shimmy through the defence, be brought down, but extend his arm to score under the posts. 7-19.

More good work by the backs, but Reeds are very effective countering Chinnor in the ruck. As quick as Chinnor gain possession, then it is lost again. A chip through by Reeds, well gathered and they are looking menacing. Ball ripped by Chinnor but lost back in dubious circumstances and Reeds capitalise on this for try #4. 7-24.

Tom S interception, run by Rich B. Penalty given away by visitors, but the line out is lost. Good tackles by Tom W on the wing and Alfie C at full back. It is all mostly Reeds way with Chinnor making good tackles and also missing a couple. The pressure takes its toll and Reeds score again.

Good work then from Sam T, now at #9. Good runs by Ben G and Tom F, with support from Louis A. A little knock on costs dear as Reeds score from an interception whilst the advantage is being played. 7-38.

Tom W good cover tackle and the visitors knock on. Good clearance kick by Olly S, but then it is back to Reeds attacking and Chinnor defending. Tackles by Max B, Olly S, Dan M, Archie B-G and the defence is working. The visitors then pass forward and Chinnor regain possession. Big carries by Chinnor are being stopped in their tracks by the outstanding defence. Two quick tap penalties taken by Chinnor for infringements come to nothing and frustratingly the visitors combine backs and forwards to score again. 7-45.

With minutes to the whistle, Joe H retains the ball well in contact to retain possession and prevent the visitors for any further score. Not a great score line, but the team acquitted themselves well against strong opposition. Thanks go to Reeds for travelling to Chinnor at short notice (as their pitches were waterlogged). Next week the Colts host Beaconsfield with 'A' and 'B' league matches the following Sunday.
