Festival format:
Open pool - there will be 2 pools consisting of 6 teams playing in a round robin style format. At the end of initial fixtures, the top 2 teams will play off in a semi-final match's (top of pool 1 vs 2nd in pool 2, top of pool 2 vs 2nd in pool 1), with the winners of this playing in the grand final. The other two semi-finalists will then also play against each other.
Game length: All round robin games will be played in a 10 minute fixture with no half time. to speed up the game following a game being scored the attacking team will attempt a drop goal for additional points.
In the event there are teams on level points then it will be decided on the following:
tries scored
tries against
If by this stage it is still level the outcome will be decided by the previous head to head result of the pool fixture.
