vs Oxford Quinns

Another great day and excellent result from the Chinnor U13s. The format was both the A's and B's played Quinn's and while the A's had the upper hand in the 3rd quarter the first quarter was well fought over resulting in a draw. The coaching team where especially pleased with the B's who stood out this week, they played as a team and played for each other and while on the scoreboard they lost by 2 tries they showed the A selection the power of team work. We now have 30 players and plenty of competition for places in the A selection. Notable runs from Seth, Charlie and Sam Evans this week but the players who stood out and are up for nominations for player of the day are Archie Turnbull for his tackling and running lines, Josh Reed for his ball carry and tackling, Harry Metha for his ruck and scrummaging and Freddie Anderson for his loose forward work.
