A gutsy win in appalling weather.

Atrocious weather with 3 degrees plus wind chill and a water-logged pitch.

The squad started with 14 boys and ended with 12 but ran out winners 45-0 with both forward ‘route 1’ tries and ‘back line tries’.

What was really pleasing to see was the ‘game head’ and support play. With a really wet ball we only had 3 or 4 knock-ons in the whole match. Incredible ball handling resulting in keeping the ball alive until we scored.

We didn’t count tries but somewhere north of 8 or so I’d say!

Its always difficult to single out players but Alex Church at and Maks were outstanding and the support from the whole team was superb . Good forward and back shape in both attack and defence.

This was a gutsy performance in appalling weather. Well done boys.
