CHINNOR Wildboys marched on at the top of Counties 1 Southern North with a convincing victory at Swindon College Old Boys.
Flanker Guy Hackshaw, centre Andrew Prosser (pictured) and wing Joe Chapman all crossed for hat-tricks, while scrum-half Charlie Nicholls scored 31 points in Wiltshire.
This latest win leaves our Wildboys four points clear of second-placed Marlow with a game in hand.
Full credit must go to Swindon College Old Boys for their spirit and desire to keep playing until the final whistle, and we thank our hosts for their hospitality.
Our 3rd XV held a dominant lead at half-time, thanks to tries from Ben McIntosh (2), Hackshaw (2), Monty Graham, Charlie Nicholls, Karl Crockford, George Blewitt and Prosser. Charlie Nicholls converted eight of the nine tries to make it 61-0 after 40 minutes.
The second half continued in the same vein, with the backs continuing to cause problems. Chapman (3), Prosser (2), Blewitt, Harry Lowe, Hackshaw and Toby Inman crossed after the break, with Charlie Nicholls continuing his fine day from the tee, adding a further five conversions.
Our Wildboys are back at home this Saturday, taking on High Wycombe at Kingsey Road.
