CHINNOR Wildboys continued their dream start to life at Level 7 with a commanding victory at Bletchley.
Tries from Monty Graham (2), Joe Chapman, George Hope, Dan Coulon, Dean Collins and Sam Ludgate saw our Men's Third XV record their fifth win in a row.
This latest result leaves our Wildboys top of Counties 1 Southern North, five points clear of second-placed Marlow.
Bletchley took the lead via an eighth-minute penalty, but it did not take long for Chinnor to get off the mark.
Four minutes later and a poor exit was picked up by wing Graham who broke a tackle just outside the 22 to score under the posts. Scrum-half Charlie Nicholls added the extras for a 7-3 lead.
Both sides had players sent to the sin-bin for separate offences, before two tries in as many minutes at the end of the half opened up a 16-point advantage at the break.
Graham scored his second of the afternoon when finishing off a fine move, and then fast feet from fellow winger Chapman saw him break through tackles to score in the corner. Nicholls superbly converted the latter for a 19-3 lead.
We continued to add to our tally after the break.
No 8 Hope superbly ran in from half-way to score under the posts, before a trademark show-and-go from Coulon saw him go over from a similar distance, proving that those tight hamstrings do have a bit of flexibility. Centre Sam Hick converted both tries to make it 33-3 after 48 minutes.
Chinnor continued to put the pressure on and Bletchley's discipline was causing them issues. Our sixth try arrived just before the hour when Collins scored his fourth of the season - Hick converting.
The hosts then had a player red carded for foul play and we quickly added to our tally, with loosehead prop Ludgate touching down. Hick added the extras.
To Bletchley's credit they kept on going and scored a late try, but our Wildboys were out of sight.
Next up is Bracknell 2nd at home on Saturday, October 15.
