Chinnor bow down to the bishop.

Chinnor 2s well beaten.

This match again starts with a good blend of experience and youth with nine U19 within squad, Sam BIss another colt making his debut as substitute.
Chinnor kick the match off and start the game well with good early possession and phases. From the start it looked like it was going to be a evenly fought game. On 8 minutes BIshop Stortford score, an error kicking the ball straight into touch BIshops Stortford counter with quick line out attack at speed deep into Chinnor 22 metres.Chinnor defend well but eventual concede the first try to BIshops Stortford.0-7. During the half there where opportunities for both side to score but both defences are equal until 35 minutes BIshops Stortford score again. The scrum half scores, a line break from base of break down ,he breaks free to score 0-12. On 37 minutes a off side infringement and a penalty is awarded to Bishops Stortford to increase their lead 0-15. Chinnor need to hold out til half time but concede again right on the stroke and go in 0-22 down. This 5 minute spell turned the game completely, the players regroup and stern words are said at half time.
Chinnor are undone again on 42 minutes another quick penalty and another try, 0-27. Chinnor hit straight back and get some points on the board. A quick penalty goes to Joe PIckett on crash ball delicate pass to Seb Scott to score, 5-27. The next score is important to Chinnor but unfortunately it goes to BIshop Stortford to increase their lead 5-34. On 75 minutes Jake Olley scores splitting the BIshops Stortford defence and conversion 12-34. The last 5 minutes finished with BIshops Stortford scoring two further tries and conversion to well beat the Chinnor 2s 12-48. To be fair we where well beaten by a well drilled executed team who looked to run and play good rugby but we gave away some soft tries. For Chinnor we need to regroup buy into the Chinnor ethos which has bode well throughout the years starting with everybody training, developing our play and patterns . I personally believe we have the talent on the pitch to produce better performance week in week out. Heads up and move forward as one, make amends at Dorking this Saturday with a win.
