Bertie Hopkin was appointed Club Captain in 2020 having made quite the impression on and off the pitch since his arrival in Thame six years ago. Popular with members and teammates, Bertie helped Chinnor win promotion to National League 1 for the first time in 2018, scoring a try in the play-off victory against Sedgley Park. Injury has prevented the fly-half from adding to his 335 points in 46 games, but we hope to see him back out on the pitch again soon.
