Ryan has made 28 appearances for the Club over three spells. After spending time on loan in 2017/18 and 2018/19, the Irishman was a key player as we finished fourth in 2019/20, missing only one game.

Comfortable at blindside flanker and No 8, Ryan – who works for our principal sponsor Rectory Homes - returns following a season with Greene King IPA Championship club Nottingham and he is looking forward to getting started.

He said: “I’m happy to be back at Kingsey Road. It’s great to see some familiar faces and I look forward to getting to know the rest of the Senior Squad. I’m really excited for what the next few seasons will bring.”

I am excited to work with Willie for the first time as he is a tough player, a direct person and it is clear he has plenty of ambition left on the table with regard to his rugby career.
