For our family and friends not able to be at the celebration we shall share a link so that they may be involved.
Dress code is not formal and as our Dad loved wearing blue (as it made his blue eyes bluer) you can join us if you wish to in wearing anything blue.
Kindest regards,
Robyn and Megan

A True Chinnor RFC Stalwart
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Walter McGuicken, a cherished member of the Chinnor RFC family, who left us earlier this week.
Walter has been a towering presence at the club since the early 1990s, dedicating decades of unwavering support to Chinnor RFC and the wider rugby community. His passion for the game, his loyalty to the club, and his genuine care for players and supporters alike made him a beloved figure whose impact will be felt for generations.
Incredibly well regarded by all who knew him, Walter leaves behind a legacy of fond memories, especially among the many ex-players who had the privilege of playing under his guidance and encouragement. His humour, wisdom, and steadfast commitment to the club made him more than a supporter—he was family.
On behalf of the Chinnor RFC Board, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Walter’s loved ones. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Further details will be forthcoming in the near future.
RIP Walter
Forever part of the Chinnor story
