Director of rugby Matt Williams picks his first squad of 2020

MATT Williams has named his first squad of the new decade as Chinnor take on Hull Ionians this weekend.

The Thame-based side head to Yorkshire for Round 17 of National League 1, bidding to begin 2020 with a victory on the road.

Chinnor have made eight changes, five positional, from the game against Richmond, while prop Camilo Parilli-Ocampo is in line for his debut off the bench.

The loosehead has been out since pre-season with a torn bicep, but is named in a matchday squad for the first time since joining the club, while Oscar Heath is also included in the 20.

Director of rugby Williams has named the same front row that started against Richmond, with Josh Pieterse, Nick Selway and Joe Rees keeping their places.

Ehize Ehizode has recovered from concussion to join Jack Ramshaw at lock, while James Tyas continues at openside after permanently joining the club until the end of the season.

Willie Ryan comes back in at No 8, with Ofisa Treviranus moving to blindside.

Callum Watson and Laurence May continue their half-back partnership, while there are a number of changes elsewhere.

Josh Hodson returns on the left wing, while Jason Worrall moves to the right from outside centre.

Caolan Ryan starts at 12 with Pete Laverick switching to 13, while Kieran Goss goes to full-back.
