Darlo's set for his 50th cap!

MARK Darlington earns his 50th cap as Chinnor face Rams under the Friday Night Lights this evening (7:45pm).

The sides meet at Kingsey Road in National League 1 for the first time since 2020, and we fully expect another humdinger in Thame.

Netherlands international Darlington – in his second spell with the Club – starts at hooker on his 50th appearance and he will be aiming to score for the third home game in a row after tries against Leeds Tykes and Rosslyn Park.

Director of Rugby, Richard Thorpe makes only two changes from the side which started against Bishop’s Stortford last week. Josh Hodson starts on the left wing in place of the injured Kieran Goss (back), while Jack Walsh has recovered from illness.

The pack remains the same, with Keston Lines, Darlington and Bradley Harewood in the front row. Ben Glynn and Conor Brockschmidt continue at lock, with Willie Ryan, captain Ben Manning and Fred Tuilagi in the back row.

Walsh starts at fly-half, with Luke Carter at 9, while Sam Yawayawa and George Grose continue in midfield. Hodson – who scored a try off the bench last week - is on the left wing, with Jason Worrall on the right and Nick Smith at full-back.

There are two changes on the bench, with Andy Berry and Ryan Crowley returning to the matchday squad, joining Soane Tonga’uiha, Max Heathman and Alfie North among the finishers.
