Berry & Worrall start as Esher visit Thame

ANDY Berry is handed his first start of the season as our Men's First XV take on Esher in National 1 tomorrow.

Both sides are in need of a victory to pull away from the bottom of the table and with it being our Vice Presidents and Founders Day lunch, we are all set for another great afternoon of rugby at Kingsey Road.

Homegrown forward Berry starts at blindside flanker and is among four changes - two positional - from the side which started the draw against Cinderford. Top try-scorer Jason Worrall has returned to fitness and starts on the right wing, so that means Josh Hodson moves to the left. With Oli Curry beginning his two-week ban, Conor Brockschmidt switches into the second row.

The front row remains unchanged for the third straight game, with Josh Pieterse at loosehead prop, Reece Marshall at hooker and Josh McNulty at tighthead. Brockschmidt joins James Down at lock, with Berry, Alfie North and Willie Ryan in the back row.

In the backs, Luke Carter and Will Feeney continue their half-back partnership, with Will Simonds and Lewis Jones again in midfield. Nick Smith is at full-back, with Hodson and Worrall on the wings.

Among the replacements are Charley Robinson, Keston Lines, Max Heathman, Kieran Goss and Jack Walsh.
