CHINNOR are on the road again this weekend, travelling to Richmond for round two of the 2019/20 season.
The Oxfordshire team will be looking to build on last Saturday’s 17-15 victory at Blackheath as they eye back-to-back away wins in National League 1.
Chinnor only played at the Athletic Ground a couple of weeks ago as they faced London Scottish – who groundshare with Richmond – in a pre-season friendly.
As was the case that day, the playing surface looks in tip-top condition for this weekend and the stage is set for an action-packed afternoon against a side who beat Darlington Mowden Park in the opening round.
There are a number of ways for Chinnor supporters to get to the game.
If travelling by car, the ground is on the A316, in between Richmond roundabout and Richmond Baths. The postcode is TW9 2SF.
Those who decide to use public transport, can get a train from Waterloo to Richmond or alternatively use the District Line. Once you are at Richmond Station, turn right and cross the A316 at the traffic lights, before turning left and the ground is 50 yards on the right.
Tickets are priced from £10 and can be bought here or at the gate on the day.
The ground opens at 11am, while there is a fully-stocked bar and food will be available.
