EDMUNDO Alarcao has been called up to the Portugal squad for the Rugby Europe U20 Championship.

The back-row/hooker has been playing for our Falcons this season and has headed out to Lisbon to represent his country this weekend.

Portugal face Poland in their quarter-final at the Car Jamor Stadium on Sunday, with the winner facing either the Netherlands or Germany on Wednesday.

The final is then played on November 13, with the other teams involved being defending champions Spain, Romania, Belgium and Czech Republic.
