CHINNOR RFC Thame would like to wish Max Clementson all the best as he heads down under for a new chapter in his rugby career.

The back row set off for Australia earlier today and we will let his new Sydney-based club announce him in good time.

Max enjoyed two spells with the Club, and ended his time with Chinnor on a high as he starred in last Friday's sensational win over Rosslyn Park.

Back-rower Clementson first joined Chinnor in the summer of 2021, before earning himself an England Sevens contract. After playing on the circuit and at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Max rejoined us on a short-term deal in November ahead of his move to Australia and continued to impress at openside, finishing with a superb record of six tries in 11 matches.
