First XV Friendlies Confirmed

CHINNOR RFC Thame is now able to announce our First XV’s friendlies ahead of the 2022/23 National 1 campaign.

Our semi-pro side have pre-season fixtures lined up for the final three Saturdays of August, with two of the matches at home.

We begin with a trip to Wales on August 13 to take on Carmarthen Quins. We are very much looking forward to facing the Welsh Premier Division side again and expect as tough a fixture as last year’s friendly at Kingsey Road which ended in a 17-15 defeat.

Our First XV then return back to Thame for two home fixtures against National 2 opposition.

Blackheath, a side we know well from our previous clashes in National 1, visit Oxfordshire on August 20, before we welcome Worthing Raiders on August 27.

Saturday, August 13 – Carmarthen Quins (A) – 3pm
Saturday, August 20 – Blackheath (H) – 3pm
