Chinnor travel to Moseley intent on keeping their winning streak alive against an extremely dangerous opponent.

Chinnor make the journey up the M40 to Birmingham on Saturday with a potential league winning match at stake. Chinnor need to take 2 points from the last 2 games of the season to ensure National One honours but will be under no illusions as to the difficulty of the task. Chinnor eventually took the points in December against Moseley at Kingsey Road after a titanic struggle with a last gasp George Worboys penalty. This was certainly one of Chinnor's most impressive performances of the season against a formidable outfit, who boast a large, physical pack and some very elusive backs. It was that game that gave Chinnor confidence and have only lost one game since. Moseley also went on a long winning run and a few weeks ago had won 7 out of 8. A small dip in form followed and they now sit 5th in the table, but only 6 points behind 3rd place Rosslyn Park.

Moseley will certainly be up for the fight and as usual the McNulty family bragging rights are on the line. The home side have a very strong pack and a back row with stars Ben Morris and Will Safe are always a constant threat. Roared on by a partisan and vociferous crowd, especially when they attack the clubhouse end, the hosts are always up for the confrontation. They play a very attractive brand of rugby and in Smith and Pointon they possess some of the most dangerous attacking weapons in the League. Smith is on sparkling form having scored a hatful of tries in recent weeks and if he's given an inch he will make the most of it. Maxwell-Whitely pulls the strings and kicks the goals outside the dangerous Jolly at half-back.

Ben Betts will anchor the scrum and those with longer memories will remember his time with Chinnor when on loan from Ealing.

Moseley celebrate their 150th Anniversary this year and will be very focused in ending their season with a bang as they enjoy their last 2 games at home. A true great club of English Rugby they were particularly prominent in the 1970/1980s when they were playing in the top echelon of British rugby and enjoyed many successes in the John Player Cup.

Chinnor will be conscious that the home team will be looking to end their winning run and we are set for another titanic clash between these two very impressive National One Clubs.

We are expecting a large travelling contingent and please let your voices and support be heard by the boys as they battle for what could be a historic win.
