Thank you to everyone who helped last Saturday. We’re making some improvements to a number of facilities but it can’t happen without the help of our members, great to see so many cheery faces up early to making such an impact. Carpets up and skipped, lighting down, bar packed away, linings off to the cleaners, panels folded and stored and then the floor boards!

A solid 2-hours of effort from over 30 people produced some great results, 2 full skips, container filled, boxes loaded, cupboards bursting and whilst still plenty to do it was a great way to kick off the DIY Club Days.

The marquee improvements will include a new much needed base and floor, solid side panels, an extension, new secure entrance and a refurbed bar to provide even better service and a space to be enjoyed by members and guests.

Huge thank you to everyone. Bacon rolls and a pint were well earned before watching the Lions game in the Members Bar.

We’re back on Saturday, hopefully see you there from 9am.
