All the info you need for Monday

CHINNOR VS RAMS MATCHDAY GUIDE

1st Team Rugby is nearly back at Kingsey Road and over the summer we have made plenty of ground improvements to get us ready for this next level so things may look a little different.

What’s On?

Chinnor 1st XV vs Rams - 15:00 Kick Off

Chinnor look to face one of the toughest tests from last season in Rams in their first preseason game of the new term. Last year produced two highly competitive and entertaining clashes. With Rams getting the better of us 29-19 at theirs. And we produced a 21-7 Victory in front of the bumper crowd just before Christmas. Yes this might be classed as a friendly, but I assure you on that pitch it will be old rivalries renewed.

Food Options

The Filthy Moustache - Come try out the new South African Gourmet Burger and Hot Dog restaurant that has a now permanent home at Kingsey Road. The team at Filthy Moustache have been working tirelessly over the summer break to get their restaurant up and running. And it doesn’t disappoint.

Crepes , Ice Cream and Pulled Pork options will also be available from various different vendors around the ground.

Pre Match Lunch - As ever our fabulous chefs will be producing a Pre Match food option. Tickets for this are still available. Just head to our ticketing page to purchase. LUNCH TICKETS

Parking

PARKING IS FREE

With the ground works that took place over the summer and the new stand going in, the area behind the old Kingsey Galatasaray Mega Stand as I like to call it, or the scaffold stand is no longer to be used by anyone for Parking. We now ask all supporters to park in the overflow Car Park. (this is located on the back fields past the Powerhouse Marquee) We know it can get boggy there in the rain and we are working on improving that with paths going in. But hopefully, Monday will be dry. However, If you’re attending the Pre Match Lunch please use the normal club car park.

Drinks

Bars will be opening from Midday, giving you plenty of time to warm up for kick off. We wouldn’t want you getting injured on the first game back. You may notice a few more bars have popped up over the summer, Which now enables you to hopefully get a beer quicker and miss less on field action.

Off Field Entertainment

If all of that isn’t enough we are lucky enough to be joined by Legendary DJ Swifty. Who will be on the decks building up to Kick Off.

Inflatable Obstacle Course - There will also be an Obstacle Course to keep the kids entertained until the action starts.

Tickets

Tickets range from £5 - £10, with a special deal of £5 entry before 2pm. We see this as a win win. Cheaper ticket, more time to enjoy the day.

Tickets can either be purchased online before or on the gate.

Online - Simply head to this link TICKETS

On The Gate - there's now two new ticketing offices to head to when you arrive to purchase Match Day tickets. One is located on entry from the overflow car park if you have driven. The other is located to the left of the clubhouse by the normal car park. Tickets will be £5 up until 2pm on the Gate then £10 after.

Seated Viewing

There is now seating located behind the sticks on the road side. Please feel free to use this there's no extra charge for seating so fill up the bank and make some noise as the lads cross the white was right in front of your eyes.

New Rules

With us going up a few things have had to change. One key one is no unauthorised people in the dug out area. Only certain members of staff are allowed in and around the technical area. The rules are so strict that even Nick Easter is banished to above. We also ask you to make sure kids avoid climbing or going into the Gantry. You'll notice it's grown a little and we don’t want anyone getting injured.

We can’t wait to have you back at Kingsey Road and lets get behind the boys as they start life in the Second Tier of English Rugby.
