Fixtures like this have come no bigger in the club's history.

This Saturday sees Chinnor welcome top of the table Bishop's Stortford to Kingsey Road. After a devastating loss away to Clifton the dynamic of the fixture has changed but Chinnor's need for a victory is no less essential.

The expected automatic promotion clash has been replaced by Chinnor's need to fight for victory to secure second place and stay ahead of OEs for a precious play off berth at the business end of the season.

Fixtures like this have come no bigger in the club's history and nothing would be better than to be roared on by a massive home support on Saturday.

The last time these sides met in November Bishop's won at home 30-22 in a very physical and competitive encounter. Saturday's clash will be no less intense with the coming together of the top two teams.

Bishop's will be arriving off the back of a five try victory over a strong Redruth side last Saturday. By all accounts it was an impressive display of 15 man rugby despite losing their leader and fly half playmaker Tom Coleman within minutes of the start. Man of the match Tom Banks navigated his side home despite playing out of position at replacement out half.

Coach Andy Long will obviously be hoping to make as few changes as possible to maintain winning ways.

Chinnor on the other hand will be giving this fixture everything. A win is also essential to prolong the club's home winning streak which stretches back to last season.

Every player is determined to give 110% for the shirt on Saturday. The club's best season ever can still be made exceptional by securing promotion. All things are still possible! We'll see you and hear you on Saturday. Let's make it a game to remember!
