Our amazing Chinnor Family logged more than 12,500km in January

WE’VE reached the end of the road in our Chinnor Challenge and we could not be prouder of our Chinnor Family.

Your posts have been so inspirational, with many of you exercising at least three times a week and some of you every day!

That has all added up to an amazing 12,634km which would have taken us all the way to Makassar, the capital of the Indonesian province of South Sulawesi.

The primary reason for this challenge was to encourage our Chinnor Family to remain active within the lockdown guidelines and we hope you feel enthused to continue into February.

We have been amazed by the diversity in people who have competed in our challenge, but we had a very clear winner in our light-hearted intra-club competition.

The Non-Playing team have been setting the pace since the second week of January and have finished on an impressive 4,401km.

In second place is the Kites who have been a real source of inspiration so far in 2021. Taking part in RED January as well, they have logged a superb 2,645km.

Third place goes to the Juniors (1,937km) who had a fantastic final week to overtake the Senior Squad (1,760km) who were made to settle for fourth ahead of the Minis (1,229km).

This part of the challenge was just a bit of fun, but you were able to represent your team in a different way during a time when playing rugby is not possible. We would again like to congratulate everyone who logged kilometres during January.
