The Black & White army of Chinnor supporters swarmed up to Birmingham Moseley via any transport possible. They were not disappointed. The players have consistently delivered on the pitch and after a possession free 15 minutes suddenly the game changed with three tries in what felt like three minutes.

Sensational wind assisted first half at 40 points to nil followed by a dogged defensive effort by a team that were determined to keep out the Moseley attacks until the death.

The full time whistle sparked pandemonium as players, supporters, minis, committee, Vets, Kites and quite frankly anyone else ran onto the pitch to celebrate.

Nick Easter, a man who’s won ? medals and trophies and many caps had a grin from ear to ear and sparked up his favourite Cuban cigar to mark the occasion. Tears in many eyes couldn’t hide the passion and frenzy as the hugging and kissing went into overdrive. Brilliant stuff.

Those celebrations continue well into the night and the welcome back at Kingsey Road will always be remembered by the players. The warmth and love for this group shone through from start to finish.

The next chapter will be a voyage of discovery for all of us. For now let’s enjoy the present and toast achieving quite beyond our expectations.

There’s an End of Season Party on Friday 10th May for players, members, family and friends.
