The next few weeks have Chinnor 1st XV playing the top teams in National Division 3 SW. The results of which will define the season for the 1st's.
Starting with Barnstaple this weekend, Chinnor have the long trip down to the south-west to play a team that always presents a tough challenge.
Next weekend is the top of the table clash between Chinnor and Bournemouth at Kingsey Road. At the time of writing both teams have a 100% record and so it is likely to be a cracking game with both teams having a great deal to play for.
The leadup to the Christmas break has the 1st XV playing against Newbury away on 3rd December; Chinnor have never played Newbury before so this could be an interesting local-ish derby clash.
On the 10th we entertain Newton Abbot at Kingsey Road and are fully expecting a game full of entertainment against NA who have over the past couple of seasons cemented their place in this division after promotion.
The last game of 2010 is the away return fixture against Redingensians who we narrowly beat in the opening matches of the season. They will want revenge and the 1st XV will have to be on their marks to be sure that we leave 2011 with our position in the league leaders intact.
5 games to come over the next few weeks and every one of them important in the quest for 2011/2012 glory. These games are clearly ones not to be missed.
