Chinnor again took two teams to the Abingdon 7's with a mix of old and currents colts as well as a few others. With 18 teams in this years tournament it was never going to be easy, which both teams found out.

The Kites won two and lost three, one of which was to the eventual winners the Royal Navy in which they were the first team to put 3 tries past them. They Kites progressed into the Ivor Boas Semi- Final where they faced Oxford Harlequins. With a strong first team contingent and superior physicality Quins were the eventual victors

The Falcons with their never say die attitude won one and lost four thus putting them in the Bowl Semi final. They were victorious over the ‘Seven Dwarves’ whom the Kites played in last years Cup semi final. Onto the final to play hosts Abingdon, but with tired legs this was one game to far with a loss coming their way.

Overall a great day as always, it was great to see all the players enjoying themselves in the sunshine. Our thanks to Abingdon for hosting another great tournament, look forward to returning next year
