On the back of a solid performance last season, the Colts are delighted to have three of the first team players joining the coaching team. Matt Marley comes to Chinnor from London Scottish, Jake Ashby from Cornish Pirates and Ehize Ehizode from Bristol Bears. They bring top-flight playing and coaching experience.

With two teams entered into the leagues, the Chinnor Colts are looking to recruit a few extra players for their 2019/20 campaign.

In Division 1 of the Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Berkshire (OBB) league, the players will be up against Oxford Harlequins, Amersham & Chiltern, Newbury and Reading Abbey. In Division 3 the opposition will include Bicester, Thatcham and Chesham.

"We will run a large single squad and select for each fixture, match by match" said team manager Alex Bond. "It is great that Matt, Jake and Ehize have joined the coaching team - they are capable and will help every player to develop" he added.

New and returning players are welcome to attend pre-season training on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. In addition a pre-season training session will be held on Sunday 1st September at 1pm. For more information, please contact colts@chinnor-rfc.com
