The Raiders will be even more pumped for this fixture as they could become the 1st team to beat Chinnor at Kingsey Road this season.

Chinnor are back home this Saturday against Worthing Raiders. The team will be massively keen to get back to winning ways, especially in front of the home support.  Last week they had a frustrating loss to second place Bishop's Stortford, who deservedly got the win in a close and hugely physical game. Worthing have had an up and down season with signs lately that they could be sitting a lot higher than 11th in the table.  Coach Jody Levett was happy with the commitment shown by his side against a strong Redruth side, although he was disappointed that they lost by 2 points. He will be hoping his side can pull out a performance that gets them that crucial away win they desire.  The Raiders will be even more pumped for this fixture as they could become the 1st team to beat Chinnor at Kingsey Road this season to end their home winning streak.

Up front Worthing have a big physical front five and they will be a strong match for the Chinnor forwards. Captain Matt McClean was influential last weekend scoring 17 points from 2 tries and 7 from the boot.Inside centre Kiba Richards will look to get over the gainline and provide front foot ball for the outside backs.

Chinnor have made seven changes to the team that traveled away to Bishop Stortford last week with injuries and illness playing their part in selection. In the front row Mark and Andrew Darlington come in after an impressive spell with the Dutch team. Ross Parkins comes into the second row with Gus Jones starting at openside. Sam Angel starts in the 10 shirt with Bevon Armitage outside him at 12. Steve Castle gets a start having benched previously. Another big game at home beckons. Every game is now a fight to stay top the league coming up to Christmas. Your support from the sidelines is what helps drive the boys on to get that all important win. Let's keep the home record going!
