Titans will be doing everything in their power to make sure that history does not repeat itself.

This Saturday sees Chinnor make their first journey to the South West this season to take on Taunton Titans. Taunton are in fine form and they won for the first time at Redruth last weekend, coming out on top 22-19 in a hard fought game. Last weekend Chinnor got back to winning ways with a 57-10 win over Worthing in a game where Chinnor showed immense character to play with 14 men for 50 minutes of the game. Also to add to the heat of the occasion on Saturday Chinnor will be looking to stay on top, while Taunton have a massive opportunity to close the eight point gap between the sides. This first versus fourth clash has all the ingredients to be a classic. Last time Chinnor made this trip they came out on top 26-15. No doubt the Titans will be doing everything in their power to make sure that history does not repeat itself.

Upfront Taunton are a big and uncompromising outfit and will be a real test for the Chinnor pack. Number 8 Sam Prior is a formidable force when given the chance and will look to break from the base of scrums and get front foot ball for the Titans backs. Flanker Dan Frost will look to keep his scoring record going as he has crossed the line an impressive 10 times for his side. Experienced Gary Kingdom will look to direct things from full back and punish any Chinnor ill discipline. He is in red hot form with his boot amassing 159 points thus far.

Chinnor have made 3 changes to the team that beat Worthing. CJ Osawuza comes in at no.8 with Tom Burns moving round to blindside flanker and Alex Waddingham starting at openside. Junior Fatialofa starts at inside centre with Bevon Armitage outside him at 13. Ricky Cano comes onto the bench with Korree Britton coming in from London Welsh. Ralph Jones covers his brother Frank, who has been struggling with a knee injury. Any traveling support will be most welcomed and appreciated as the boys give it all to stay top of the table with the Christmas break approaching.
