Both sides will look to earn the bragging rights as its derby day.

This Saturday sees Chinnor return to Kingsey Road for their first home game of 2017 and it's a big one. The Villagers are up against local rivals Redingensians RFC. The last time these sides met Chinnor won 32-17 in what was a close and feisty affair, with Chinnor pulling away from the Rams in the closing stages. Saturday will be no different as two of the best local sides in the league will be battling it out for bragging rights. The Rams have started the second half of the season with two losses to Henley and at home to Redruth last weekend 28-14. This will be fresh in their minds and they will look to rectify this as they make the short trip to Chinnor. Upfront the Rams are an athletic pack and get around the park well. They have a strong scrummaging front row and will be a test for Chinnors dominant scrum in recent weeks. In the back row number 8 Robbie Stapley will be their go to man for gain line success. Ex chinnor centre Danny Barnes will start at 12 and Jack Rossister will be hoping to keep his try scoring record in full flow.

Chinnor have made 3 changes to the side that beat Barnstaple away. Benji Manning comes in at blindside flanker in the forward pack. Bevon Armitage starts at inside centre and Oscar Heath makes his first start of the season after a shoulder injury in the summer. Charles Broughton will look to make his debut off the bench as he has just joined from Richmond.

As we have been on the road for the past two weeks Chinnor are looking forward to playing at home and putting in a performance in front of our great home support. We hope you are looking forward to as much as we are! See you there.
