Old Elthamians will be hoping for a performance big enough to turn the tables on Chinnor.

This Saturday Chinnor travel away to play Old Elthamians in this highly anticipated clash between second and third in the table. Old Elthamians sit only two points behind Chinnor, so a win at College Meadow would see them leapfrog into the vital second spot. Last weekend, while Chinnor had a break in the fixtures, OE's played Worthing in a game rescheduled from the late January frost. They came out convincing winners 51-21 in a seven try demolition and go into this game with some form. The last time the sides played, Chinnor came out on top 40-22. OE's will be keeping that fresh in their minds and will be hoping for a performance big enough to turn the tables on Chinnor.

OE's boast a strong forward pack and a scrum that has been proven to be destructive in recent weeks. This has provided front foot ball for number 8 Harry Ledger. Ex Wasps and London Welsh Out half Will Robinson will look to add his experience and get the OE's back line firing against a strong Chinnor defence. Winger Dom Lisepierre has been in try scoring form all season with an impressive 22 tries so far and and scored a hat trick last weekend against Worthing.

Chinnor have made a few changes since the Cinderford game. Jay Tyack comes into tight-head prop with Joe Hutchison switching to loose head. Koree Briton starts at hooker. Benji Manning comes into the second row. In the backs Greg Goodfellow starts at 9 with Luke Peters making his debut at 12. Charles Broughton moves round to the left wing with Henry Lamont on the right. Ali Bone will make his debut from the bench. Obviously this is another crucial game in the race for promotion. It promises to be a cracking encounter with two teams giving their all. A big away support would greatly add to this huge occasion! Hope to hear you on Saturday.
