Cinderford have hit serious form in the second part of the season with 7 games unbeaten.

Chinnor welcome the in-form team of the league to Kingsey Road this Saturday. Cinderford have hit serious form in the second part of the season and are 7 games unbeaten. They have caused some big upsets like beating Bishop's Stortford at Bishop's Stortford which is no mean feat.

Chinnor also go into this game with some good form having overcome Bury St Edmunds 50-20 away last weekend. Last time these sides met Chinnor won 26-9 in what was a hard fought win. Despite the winning margin Chinnor are fully aware of the challenge that awaits this time round again. This is set up to be a cracker of a game with Cinderford looking to keep their winning streak going and move further up the table. In a weekend where the top 6 teams play each other, Chinnor are fighting on two fronts; firstly to stay top and secondly to keep their proud home record of 16 games intact.

Cinderford are a big and physical pack who dominated Redruth last weekend, coming out with a well deserved 23-21 victory. In the front row, Captain and loose head prop George Porter will be looking for dominance in the scrums and in the set piece. Behind him in the second row is the experienced Adam Balding. The ex Gloucester legend is now a player coach with the club. George Evans packs down at 8 and will be hoping to get the Forrest boys on the front foot. Full back James Moffat has been impressive off the tee amassing 196 points so far this season. Obviously Chinnor will have to keep their penalty count to a minimum.

Chinnor have made one change to the starting XV that beat Bury St Edmonds. Jonny Bentley starts at out half. Bertie Hopkins makes his return from injury and comes onto the bench. Junior Fatialofa also comes onto the bench and will cover the midfield. We look forward to hearing your support tomorrow in what is a critical game in the fight to stay top! There is nothing that the players would love more than to be roared to victory by a bumper home crowd. As season defining games go, there is none bigger than Saturday. See you there!
