Chinnor travel to take on feisty wolves.

This Saturday Chinnor travel to Suffolk to take on Bury St Edmunds. Bury are sitting in 11th place in the league standings. However with 5 losing bonus points to their name and so many tight losses the Wolf pack could easily be higher up the table. The last time these sides met Chinnor were victorious winning 45-14 scoring 6 tries and conceding 2.

However this will be a different battle as Bury is a very difficult place to go to play a team roared on by their always passionate supporters. Very few teams return home with the always precious away win. Last weekend was also a turning point for Bury as they gained a well deserved bonus point away to Redruth. They had been struggling for form in recent weeks but showed a lot of heart and commitment to win and they will look to build momentum again this weekend. Chinnor still sit top going into this game and will be taking nothing for granted against a Bury side motivated by last weeks exploits.

Upfront player coach Cai Griffiths will be hoping for a dominant scrum performance. New Zealander Liam McBride will start at 10 and will look to get the back line flowing  and play the expansive brand of the rugby their supporters will be looking for.

Chinnor have made a number of changes to the side that beat Barnes. Mark Darlington starts at hooker with new prop Joe Hutchinson getting his first start at tight head. CJ Osazuwa starts in the second row, with Tom Burns in the 8 shirt. Ben Piennar moves round onto the blindside flank. Basil Strang comes in at out half with Charles Broughton coming in from the wing to start at inside centre. Luke Hibbard comes in to start on the wing. Jonny Bentley joins us from Eailing for the rest of the season and is eager to make his debut from the bench.

Be sure to follow the game on twitter and any travelling support is most welcome as we continue the fight to stay on top!
