Chinnor take on Cinderford away in the Forest of Dean this Saturday.
Chinnor go into this game with 8 wins from 8, so the Gloucestershire men will be looking to knock Chinnor off their perch having lost heavily away to Redruth 54-6 in their last outing.
Cinderford will look to put that disappointing performance behind them and get a win in front of their home fans. Upfront, Cinderford are very physical and uncompromising. Captain and ex-Worcester loose head George Porter will look to lead from front and bring all his experience to contain a strong Chinnor scrum. Behind George in the scrum, Cinderford have Adam Baldwin. The ex-Leicester, -Gloucester, and -Newcastle man will bring not only experience but also direct ball carrying to get them over the gain line.
Fly half James Moffat will be hoping for quick ball from the pack as he will look to unleash the outside backs.
Chinnor have made a few changes from the side that beat Bury St Edmunds. Andy Darlington comes in at tight head and Richard Thorpe comes in at blindside flanker. Steve Castle comes in for the injured Danny Barnes and Kieran Goss slots back into full back with Luke Hibberd on the wing. Winning streaks are now there to be shot at each week by opponents. This Chinnor squad will again do all in its power to preserve winning momentum at Cinderford.
Thanks again to our supporters home and away this season. See you Saturday!
