To date seven people have signed up to be Young Rugby Ambassadors. They are Sam Rawsthorne, Archie Nicolle, Henry Templar, Sam Hawthorne, Sam Nicholls, Rory Smith, Tomas Aslett and Sam Meredith.

They have been involved with Saturday Match Assistants, coaching in schools and the club and SOS KitAid. They log their hours and in return receive formal recognition of their volunteer work they do at the club.

The SOS KitAid project has resulted in 8 boxes of kit being sent off with 2 more to go. Everyone at the club is grateful to those who have donated stuff from bootlaces to training jackets.

One of the Young Rugby Ambassadors, Archie Nicolle, helped with the heaviest work load sorting out old club sets. Through his connection at Princes Risborough School we hope to donate 2 sets of kit for the Saracens RFC Women’s Rugby project.

A briefing session by members of the YRA Council is being planned at the Club so members can learn first-hand about the benefits of this scheme. Watch this space for details.
