Gosford All Blacks invited to play in this Sundays match.

Following on from the fundraising evening held in September when renowned author James Kerr came and spoke about his time with the All Blacks ahead of the 2011 World Cup the U13's have a new event on the horizon.

This Sunday they welcome friends in rugby Gosford All Blacks to participate in the inaugural Jonah Lomu Cup match. The match is the brainchild of Paul Shearman, the fixtures secretary for the U13s, himself of New Zealand extraction but who has made Chinnor Rugby Club his home. It’s a chance to honour the great man himself and the ethos to which he played his rugby. An event they hope that will be continued for many years to come. On the day itself, the boys will also take a collection for the Jonah Lomu Legacy Trust, we hope those that can will give generously.

We wish the U13 the very best of luck in the match and also to those that are playing in the country cup match too.
