Sports Photography, Match Reporting & Sports Media Opportunities

We have various openings for some media loving people to join us behind the scenes at Chinnor RFC

We are looking for some creative and enthusiastic people to join our friendly media team to keep Chinnor RFC and all our activities, from 1st XV games to information to our community work and all the excellent work of our youth section, at the forefront of our targeted audiences. All positions are voluntary and we are looking to build on our current high quality online media presence.

Team members are currently required as follows:-

Photographer(s)

To cover 1st team home games (essential) and possibly away games. Plus covering other senior and junior Chinnor teams as availability allows. To produce match shots for use in both local and national press and social media. Ability to meet fixed deadlines is essential.

Match Reporter(s)

To write reports on 1st team fixtures for use in local and national press (The Rugby Paper) and on social media platforms. Diligence and ability to meet tight deadlines on match days essential. This is a challenging position which could be used to enhance the CV of anyone seeking a career in sports journalism or a keen hobby.

Sports Media Team members

To create team graphics & Info graphics for the Chinnor teams to be used on all social media platforms. Experience of editing and posting to online channels is an advantage. An eye for design, creativity and having the ability to meet strict deadlines is essential. Training/mentoring is available. This would suit a person looking to bolster a CV or statement with a view to working within the sports media arena
