Chinnor player selected as starting scrum half for Twickenham clash

We've got to get the mental side of it right; remain very, very hungry and disciplined and just play the game on the day
- Graham Dawe, Cornwall coach

Congratulations to Greg Goodfellow who has been instrumental in Cornwall’s County cup run which sees then return to Twickenham for their fourth consecutive year in the County Championship Final.

After a 32-14 victory last week against Surrey the defending champions return to Rugby HQ in a repeat of the 1998 final with Cheshire. The match will be played on Sunday at noon, in a prelude to England's home international with Wales.

Coach Graham Dawe told local radio station Pirate FM they want to make the Duchy proud.
He said:
"All rugby players would love the opportunity to play at Twickenham, especially in a good team. You want to do yourself justice. Yes we want to win the game but it's just lovely to run out at Twickenham in that famous corridor. It's the home of rugby, it's the main part and everybody wants to play down there".

Of the opposition, Cheshire he said

"It's a very hard thing to do because they're going to be really buoyed by coming and playing at Twickenham for the first time for many years. We're going there for the fourth time. It's a lot of pressure. Very few teams do and we've got to get the mental side of it right; remain very, very hungry and disciplined and just play the game on the day."

We wish Greg and the whole of the Cornwall team the very best of luck.
