Chinnor Colts get opportunity in last game of the year

Chinnor finish this season at home against Southend in a game where they desperately want to finish the season on a high. Its a game that sees three Chinnor Colts get their debut showing the abundance of talent that is coming through Chinnor's age grade teams at present and a great opportunity for them to test themselves at the next level. Chinnor are currently sitting in 9th place after the frustrating loss last week however with a Chinnor win and results going their way they can still achieve their aim of 6th place this year.
Their opponents this week are Southend who will provide a stern test for the Black and Whites as shown by Chinnors defeat at the start of the season. In Southend's team this week will see last years Chinnor's top try scorer Ruben Haile and also ex Saracens and Toulon Second Row Kris Chesney.
There is a much changed Chinnor team for this weekends fixture. Due to Andy and Mark Darlington being away on International Duty with Holland it sees the return of Ryan Hopkins at Tighthead Prop with Jonathan Phipps taking over the number 2 shirt. In the Second Row due to the absence of Nathan Hannay, Tom Burns starts in the number 4 shirt. In the backline Frank Jones takes over Fly Half duties to the absence of Sam Angel and after recovering from injury last week Junior Fatialofa starts at 12. Henry Lamont is away playing for Oxbridge against the Combined Services as a curtain raiser at Twickenham for the Army vs Navy game which sees Colt Cameron Hill make his first start on the wing.
The bench sees three colts look to make their debut on the bench which are Josh Preston, Scott Hall and Charlie Nicholls.
Kick off is 3pm and we hope to see as many supporters as possible to finish the season in style
