With the 2021/22 campaign coming to an end, we have pulled together a series of informal end-of-season reports for our senior teams. Next up is our Oxen (Vets) from Steve Bridges.

Biggest Win: 54-10 v Witney (A)

How would you grade your season (A*-U)? A

Why? The aim of our season was to re-establish the Oxen once again as a playing force. We have done that with a wider squad containing some new, younger faces. It’s not an A* because we lost the Vets Floodlit Cup final!

Most memorable moment? Beating Henley in the Cup semi-final. They came to Kingsey Road with a team to compete and we played really well to win.

Funniest moment? John Vaughan’s match report having not even watched the match.
