At first team level, this is the most successful season in the club’s history. We have already surpassed 100 league points and are sitting second in a league where second stands an opportunity of promotion through a play off.

Saturday gone we travelled to Clifton and met a team sitting in mid table, desperate to ruin the Chinnor party, and that's exactly what happened. I'm not going to sugar coat the performance and hide behind the fact we were missing several key players; the simple fact is we never showed up and were beaten by the better team on the day.

The boys are gutted as they let themselves down but we have no time to wallow in self pity as each game is a cup final. We need the black and white army behind us, louder than ever before!

We sit one point ahead of Old Elthamians and for the first time this season go into a game as the underdogs against league leaders Bishop’s Stortford. This is a phenomenally exciting season and we have never needed your support as much as we do now. Yes we had hoped this weekend would be to challenge for the league title but now we fight to stay in the top two.

So rally the troops, and come out in force again… this is your team, your club as we move into the final push!
