Chinnor RFC are delighted to announce the arrival of Alex Bradley, Will Bordill and George Oliver.

Will Bordill

24 year old Cheshire born Will Bordill is a Loose Forward in the mould of Neil Back. Having represented Scotland at U18's he graduated into Professional rugby through the Sale Academy making his Premiership debut at the age of 18. Deciding to follow his Scottish heritage Will signed a 3 year contract with Glasgow Warriors and went on to represent Scotland U20's 19 times.
At Glasgow Warriors Will was part of the squad that won the 'Guinness Pro 12' and he was also the Warriors 'A' Captain. Dual registered to Ayr RFC in the Scottish Premier League and B&I Cup.

DOR Matt Williams commented, "I am delighted to have secured Will's services. His CV speaks for itself and when he decided to leave the Pro game and come South for work it was a very simple decision when he approached us to join the squad. We have lacked an out and out 7 in my time at Chinnor . He's also a natural leader both on and off the pitch"

Will added, "I'm delighted to be joining a club as ambitious as Chinnor. The squad were unlucky to miss out on promotion last year and we will be going all out to get it right this year. Pre-season has been good so far and there is a clear focus and determination within the squad."

George Oliver

Following Darren Oliver, Jack Ramshaw and Joe Hutchinson from Rotherham Titans is former Leicester Tiger Academy star and Coventry Captain George Oliver. George by trade is a jackal master 7 but is joining Chinnor to convert to Hooker. "I've enjoyed a pretty successful career at 7 but the Pro game has changed so much now jackal 7's will always be overlooked in selection to size and power. I have desires to go back to the top of the game and Matt (Matt Williams) has successfully moved players from Back row to front row before. It is a natural fit for me to be at Chinnor in this key moment of my career." Matt added, "I am a huge fan of George's, a superb player who punches way above his size. If George can master the dark arts of the front row I have no doubt he will be back in the Pro game as a hooker."

Alex Bradley

24 year old Loose forward Alex Bradley is no stranger to Chinnor having played on loan from Ealing Trailfinders since Christmas, being man of the match on his debut against Henley Hawks. A bull dog of a back row, Alex is happy playing 6, 7 or 8 but has enjoyed most of his rugby at 6 for Ealing. Playing over 40 times in 3 seasons for The Trailfinders,
DOR Matt Williams is delighted to turn the loan into a permanent acquisition. "Alex is a hard, all action back row forward who is best when the ball is in his hand. His work rate is undeniable and because of that found himself wearing the 7 jersey, but I'm really pleased he has chosen to stay with us where I'm going to let him flourish at 8 or 6 with ball in hand!" Alex added, "I'm delighted to be staying at Chinnor next season. The culture within the squad and the determination to go one better next season is a key factor in my signature."
