"The Touchline Society" recently visited the hallowed terraces of Twickenham to watch England demolish the Frogs in the 5-Nations. This page shows some of the memories of a wonderful day when yet again "The Touchline Society" nearly LOST BOB!!
Each year the society stops for a glorious feast of English cooking at a cafe down the A4. This year we were surprised as the cafe had been restored since our last visit; the toilets had been re-tiled, a hotel had been opened and the prices had gone up! Here two of our members are tucking into a "truckers" breakfast - a great bargain at £3.00. Even Jonathan couldn't finish it all! See our members queuing for a feast of gigantic proportions. For some reason only 2 members are looking at the camera - question is what is our other member looking at??? Answers via email to chinnor.rfc@btinternet.com. Later in the day, the rituals commence - here are some memories of this years drinking festivities with a final picture showing what happened to one of our older, more mature members.
After the match, we had again, for the 2nd year on the trot, LOST BOB. Here are some action photos taken by our reporter when Bob returned to the Society...... yes, he basically couldnt give a monkey's.
During the day, we tried many new and varied tasks and the pictures below capture some of the attempts as follows:
Flying close to policemen Smiling for England Making excuses
