Chinnor gave North Walsham a run for their money before going down to
their third defeat of the season. North Walsham move up to third place
after this win which also saw them pick up their fourth four try bonus
point of the season.
They
were ahead early on when centre William Hughes went over to make it 5-0.
The visitors responded on ten minutes when centre Anthony Pyers went
over for a try and fly half Richard Williams converted for 7-5.
On
20 minutes the home side were back in front when full back Andy Thorpe
went over for his 4th try of the season and a 12-7 lead with
Craig May converting.
Chinnor were back in front soon when Williams went in for a try and
added the extras for 14-12. It was the home side though that went in at
half time in front with May putting over a penalty goal.
Chinnor came back to take the lead again when flanker Johannes De Bruin
went over for the third visitors try and a 19-15 lead and his third try
of the season.
Right wing Tom Holt saw North Walsham go back in front with a try before
Juan Pistone took them two scores clear with the fourth home try of the
afternoon.
Williams made sure the visitors got a losing bonus point with a late
penalty goal.
