U13 Presentation Day

Under 13 presentation and trophy day

Today was the crowning glory for our team this 2005 – 2006 season. With a good turnout from both players and supporters.

With the speeches from Mark Carrington (outgoing Head Coach) and Stephen Arundell (incoming Head Coach) over, it was down to the players to receive their awards from our Sponsor, Martin McNamara, of local Aylesbury based firm PERTEMPS.

Each player received an inscribed, boxed medal and personalized certificate with special awards going to Alex Wingfield (Most Injured Player Award), Will Carroll (Coaches Player Award) and Jack Benson (Players Player Award).

Special thanks went out to Carol Firminger, Linda Smith and Julie Wilkinson (The First Aid Crew), who received flowers kindly donated by Tesco’s of Tring Road, Aylesbury, Chris Rees (Team Manager), who received a signed photograph from all the staff and Steve, Keir, Alan Batty (also a team sponsor), Nick and Craig (The Assistant Coaches), who also each received a boxed medal and certificate.

Last, but never least, a big thanks went out to Mark Carrington, along with a gift from the staff, presented by Keir Bartlett and an inscribed tankard from all the players, presented by award winners Jack Benson and Will Carroll, for all the effort put in over the past season by himself and family.

I would like to thank all the players, coaches and support staff as well as parents and supporters for the immense effort put in over the past season. I hope that next season will be as fruitful and fulfilling as this one has been.
