Much needed win for Penryn as they look to move away from the bottom three sides in the division.

They were quick out of the blocks and went ahead on 5 minutes with flanker James Mann touching down and Dave Pascoe converting for a 7-0 lead. James Cathcart slotted over penalty goals for Chinnor in the 8th and 30th minutes to get the visitors back within a point.

Two tries in the final ten minutes of the first half saw the home side go into the break with a good 19-6 lead. Full back Nick Brown went over for a try on 34 minutes and then in injury time left wing James Greville-Smith went over and Pascoe converted.

In the second half the only score came form the visitors as left wing James Hewitt touched down and Cathcart converted as Penryn took two valuable points.
