2004/2005 season

What a year - improved performances all over the place - highest finish in SW Division One, Oxfordshire Cup Final again (when will we win the bloody thing?!)

A great year for Chinnor with many new players and our young bucks maturing nicely to create a platform for the future.

We also had past-players who received England Honours - see below:

ENGLAND UNDER 21 HONOURS FOR EX-CHINNOR PLAYERS

Chinnor RFC has a long history of producing great players through our mini and junior sections who make the grade in the Chinnor senior teams. But, we can also develop players who go on to play at higher levels and currently we have 2 ex-Chinnor players who not only are making their mark in the Premiership, but now also have started to make a difference to the England Under 21 team.

This picture shows our most recent internationals; Dave (Ces) Seymour who moved from Chinnor 1st XV to Saracens this season and Tom Varndell (Dawes) who played as a Mini and Junior at Chinnor before he joined Leicester Tigers. Both guys have made a significant difference to the England Under 21 setup as well as making significant contribution to their Premiership clubs - congratulations to Ces and Tom on these great honours and great kudos to the coaches who helped them at Chinnor reach the pinnacle of Under 21 rugby in England.
